I recently experience a close disaster with my shower lever breaking off and could have possibly had my entire place flooded. However, the property manager was very responsive to the scene, asset what is needed and even though he didn’t have the parts required to replace the broken piece, he was resourceful on getting it in place in order to resolve and fix the issue without the days of waiting. I am leaving this review to properly recognize his efforts and please to have a such a professional from your team member.

I spoke to Ellen few months back, because I am relocating to the Bay Area. She was so helpful, told me so much about the area. I had to put my relocation on hold until end of Summer 2022. But upon reflecting on the interactions with Ellen and after speaking to many other apartment communities I felt compelled to leave a review. I spoke to probably 6-7 other communities and none were as helpful as Ellen was. She told me so much about the apartment and the surrounding area I felt I could really envision it. As soon as my move comes closer I will be reaching out to Sun Valley and Ellen again.

I contacted Itzel at Sun Valley looking for an apartment. She was so awesome and helpful. Since I am looking to relocated from out of state it has been so hard to figure out where I should reside. Itzel offer the best customer service I have received in all the calls I made looking for a new place to live. My move/job relocation has been delayed, but as soon as I have a confirmed date I will be reaching out to Itzel again. Thank you Itzel for all your help.

I really enjoyed living here. Though it way be on the pricier side of things, the proximity to major freeways, shops and restaurants is unmatched. The staff, Brandee and Rudy were always amazing at responding to requests and repairs. I very much would recommend this place to anyone.

I really enjoy this place. It’s very quiet and well maintained. The freeway is close by . The mall is 1/2 mile away . Brandi our manager helped me get a bottom floor so my elderly parents don’t have to walk up stairs. Also , it’s a pet friendly apartment. Thank you

I came back to write this review because I like how they treat renters. Although I only stayed in this apartment for a year, the whole experience is remarkable. The manager was friendly and helpful, the price was decent, and the most impressive thing is that they didn't deduct any money from our deposit after we thouroughly cleaned the house. It might be annoying if you live above or below to a neighbor who likes to play loud music in late night though.

Sun Valley Apartments has been my home for the last 4 years and I couldn't be happier. The management is great. Brandee is amazing and has been very helpful. The apartment complex is always clean and the maintenance manager is very friendly and quick to fix anything and everything. I have no complaints living here. The complex is quiet, it is safe, the neighbors are nice, and it's somewhere I'm happy to call home. It has easy access to the mall and downtown area. Overall, it is somewhere I feel lucky to live in.

From my perspective, this apartment is an excellent place to live! Moreover, I say that is because of the living condition, safety, and location. Regarding living condition, this apartment is great, since I am a student in dvc, I've been lived in a different apartment that located in Pleasant Hill. In my opinion, this is the best; the laundry room has a lot of washer/dryer, so you don't have to wait. This apartment provides free wifi access to all resident, so you don't have to pay the internet. Moreover, the place is very quiet since most of the residents in here aren't the college student. Furniture is very new too. I live very happily in these two years. Regarding safety, this place is safe, if you are living near DVC, you will really see the difference, two of my friends got robbed in there.... In contrast, I haven't seen any robbery that happens here. Last but no least, the reason for me to give a high rating is because of the location. 5 min walking to ace hardware, 1 min walking to Chop Chop Korean restaurant, 2 min walking to Honda sushi (which is also a great place to eat Japanese food) and around 10 min walking to Safeway, and 15 min walking to DVC. So you got everything you need within walking distance! Sadly, I gotta move to Berkeley to continue my academic; I am gonna miss this place so much. P.S. Other yelp review are right, there has been swap between the manager and in the first few month, everything was messed up, in February, they messed up with their database and all the rent goes crazy (I got over-charged by $500), and I went to the office and told them I got overcharged, they are willing to change it back.

BEST Apartment Ever. I love Rene and Marcy and they make me feel like family.

I moved to Sun Valley because the place is near my office and I needed a quiet place for my research works. I just love it. My unit is pretty quiet most of the time, but this is still apartment living. The area I’m in is peaceful and relaxing, I can actually work near my balcony the whole day. The price is lower than the others I’ve seen at the time, but I can say that this place is totally worth it.
